You come from a RICH FAMILY, with plenty of HONOR. It’s provided, for you, a GOOD EDUCATION and PLENTY OF MONEY. You usually spend it on CLOTHES AND FOOD, but you’ve lately been saving up to buy a nice ring. Certainly not for a GIRL YOU KNOW, though. The very idea; damn preposterous.
You are a member of the CATHOLIC CHURCH; EVERYONE is a member of the church. But you’re starting to think that what they say is FAKEY FAKE FAKE. But you’re still a believer, because ALL YOU HAVE EVER KNOWN IS THE CHURCH.
NICOLAUS COPERNICUS, who you have NEVER MET because he is already DEAD, recently made the hypothesis about the HELIOCENTRIC SYSTEM. Now, other SCIENTISTS are starting to publish hypotheses and their findings, at the risk of BEING IMPRISONED. You admire them greatly and you wish YOU WOULD DISCOVER SOMETHING that has NOT ALREADY BEEN DISCOVERED. But you’re not really all that intelligent.
You think science is so much more of a plausible explanation for the way the world works than the silly findings of some OLD DEAD GREEK GUY or the CATHOLIC CHURCH. But, at risk of IMPRISONMENT, you’re keeping your opinions to yourself; although sometimes, a few of your OUTLANDISH OPINIONS, like that there MIGHT BE LIFE ON OTHER PLANETS, sneak out.

-HEY GUYS HEY. I'm Hindu, not Christian, but I'm RPing him as a Catholic Christian. If I screw up when I'm making a religious reference, please, just correct me. And don't feel offended if I make a religious reference, either; I'm just staying IC for someone of his time.
-I don’t know everything. A lot of the information on this account just came off the top of my head, and I admit that the information might not be 100% accurate. However, some things I had to let slip by so I could make his bio sound smoother. But if there is a BIG historical inaccuracy, feel free to alert me! I don’t know everything and your help and critique is greatly appreciated.
-I like history. I don’t like science. If you ask Eridan to talk to you about science or some of his findings, I’m probably just going to copypaste Wikipedia or repeat Newton’s laws. I’m dumb, okay, DEAL WITH IT.
-Eridan lives in the mid to late 1500s. I’m thinking he lives about 1560, when Copernicus’ ideas were still pretty fresh and the Renaissance was just beginning to leak into the Scientific Revolution.
-Eridan is French in this verse. He will speak in some French to you, not a lot. Mostly because I suck at the French language, and these lessons I’ve been taking don’t amount to much. Eridan is so not a French name, but whatever.
-He doesn’t use the concept of Moirail, Matesprit, Kismesis or Auspistice. He’s human, remember?
-When I type, I will use his quirk because the quirk is a very important part of Eridan’s character, but yet I want him to seem very educated, so I will use proper punctuation and make him have rather elegant speech.
-Eridan does not know the trolls. There are Scientific Revolution!versions of the trolls that he knows and is friends with, but he doesn’t know the actual Alternian trolls. He’s probably terrified of them anyways; however, if he manages to befriend one of them, he will be very fond of them because he thinks he’s made the latest scientific break through.
ᴓ HEADCANONS: ᴓ
-Eridan is a lot less violent and batshit crazy on this account. He’s a lot more polite and nice; half because he’s human, half because of the time period this account takes place in. ‘S just how Eridork rolls now. Upon meeting him, he is polite, but the more you get to know him, the more you realize that he's a douche.
-He's not particularly fond of the English. Wait, scratch that, he hates the English.
